Mahashivaratri (Feb – March)
Considered to be one of the most important festivals of Odisha. On this day devotees worship Lord Shiva and observe fasting and perform Puja throughout the night and keep a vigil to witness the sacred lamp burning on the temple top. The festival can be enjoyed at Lingaraj temple in Bhubaneswar.
